gothamprince Posted February 27, 2021 Report Posted February 27, 2021 in my opinion jimmy is great bowler but 600 wickets too much for his calibre. there are many better bowlers than him Quote
zarathustra Posted February 27, 2021 Report Posted February 27, 2021 He took that many wickets due to his amazing fitness which let him play so many matches. So McGrath is definitely a greater bowler but Jimmy Anderson is as amazing a physical specimen as you can be at his age Quote
galiraju Posted February 27, 2021 Report Posted February 27, 2021 i am sympathetic to McGrath...andersen's ball did not drop yet why comapring both Quote

zarathustra Posted February 27, 2021 Report Posted February 27, 2021 The greatest bowler that never lasted long enough due to injuries was Shane Bond At his best, simply unplayable. And that action, what a thing of beauty. I bet Ponting still wets himself thinking about the time he had facing Bond. Quote

No way Pollock or Kapil were better than Bond. They just had longer careers. In the short career he had the most impactful was Bond. Quote
