Santa Cruz lo beaches, light house etc. Monterey lo beaches, aquarium. Redwood lo trails untayi woods lo, I recommend owl trail. Owl train lo woods+beach untundi.

Presidio (batteries to bluffs trail - (awesome coastal scenery/hikes and golden gate bridge)

Marin Headlands - (awesome coastal scenery/hikes and golden gate bridge)

Fishermen Wharf and Pier 39 san Francisco (Ocean views, happening place, Sea food)

Point Reyes (awesome coastal scenery, light house)

Mendocino coast (coastal scenery)

Non Beach:

Napa valley - 2 hrs (Wine tasting, hot air ballooning, good scenery in spring, little cute towns - don't forget to get macaroons from bouchon bakery in yountville - very tasty)

BIG BASIN REDWOODS STATE PARK / Muir Woods National Monument (Redwood trees and hiking)

Safari West, Santa Rosa (400-acre private wildlife preserve - zoo)

Mystery spot, Santa Cruz
