Before accusing CJI first read what happened in the case, what the sessions court ruling was, and what the CJI did. The sessions court ruled that it was not rape since sex was consensual and the victim showed enough maturity despite being 16. The CJI said the sessions court is wrong and the accused must be trialed for rape. When the defendant said that he will lose his Government job, the court said that he should have thought of that before raping the victim. The victim presented the 500 rupee bond paper, and so the court asked him that question. It was put out of context by the news.
