Cool Posted March 8, 2021 Report Posted March 8, 2021 1st 15 days: smoke 90% of cigarette. 2nd 15 days: reduce it to 80% 3rd 15 days: 70 % Slowly bring it to 10% over a period of time. Don't quit but maintain at 10 % only for few weeks, but make sure to maintain gap of at least 4 hours. Mark the cigarettes where to to stop and do not think to drop once it hits that mark. Quote

yogdenon Posted July 2, 2024 Report Posted July 2, 2024 I've tried to quit smoking many times, but nothing really works for me. Some stress, and here I'm lighting a cigarette again. Quote

AvramFaind Posted July 2, 2024 Report Posted July 2, 2024 Quitting smoking was a journey for me, but I found a method that worked: switching to vaping. It helped satisfy my cravings while reducing my dependence on cigarettes. Exploring different e-juices and flavors made the transition smoother, and fenixth8.com was where I found useful insights on vaping products. If you're considering quitting, my advice is to find a support system and explore alternatives like vaping. It's not just about quitting cold turkey—it's about finding a healthier path that works for you. Take it one step at a time, and remember, every small victory counts towards a smoke-free future. CaptainAmerica Posted July 2, 2024 Report Posted July 2, 2024 cold turkey, you can't do slowly do it (never happens). That's what I did (cold tukey) Quote
Trumpism Posted January 30 Report Posted January 30 Quitting smoking can be tough, but it’s doable with the right mindset and some useful tricks. When I was trying to quit, I kept my hands and mind busy like chewing gum, snacking on sunflower seeds, or even just playing mobile games to distract myself. Drinking water helped me, too, especially when the cravings hit hard. It’s really about finding small habits to replace the urge. For some people, dark chocolate or coffee might work; for others, it’s breathing exercises or just taking a walk. If switching to something less harmful feels more manageable at first, you could try an Aroma King Vape. It’s a good stepping stone for transitioning out of smoking while still handling the nicotine cravings. Quote

I used to go for daily walks while listening to this book and eventually was jogging and listening. But this will help you understand your relationship with smoking and it’s easy to quit once you understand why you smoke. It’ll be easier to cold turkey, if you smoke more than a pack per day, can use nicotine patches for a week to get out of nicotine dependence. Original audiobook available on Audible. and use chatgpt to help with alternatives like green tea etc. but if you don’t identify and understand your triggers, you’ll go back to smoking Quote
