Depends upon situation and Age .  I will go for salary for age below 40.

You can earn money whenever you want in US. Isn’t that the point of coming here? Kids not spending enough time with family breaks the bond when they reach teenage. If my father had thought that money is more important than me then I wouldn’t be what I am today.
