India Debt to GDP ratio over years

2004-2014 congress govt lowered that drastically to 65%
2014-2019: godi took that back to 70%, projection is it will reach to 85% in next 3 years.

all major countries and states racked up a lot of debt due to covid stimulus packages . Not everything is a failure of politicians  .

That's a good thing , developing countries need to invest more into infrastructure . 

China is upto 250% debt to gdp ratio . 

EVen a state like Gujarat which had debt to GSDP of 18% went up to 30% now due to the slowdown . 

everything will come down after sometime

In fact the biggest failure of bjp is credit squeeze on MSME and normal consumers 

Big bania's close to government were getting easy access to credit and huge amount of loan waivers while MSME's were getting shafted
