Someone I know got 20% hike with promotion for exceeding expectations

Most of the time.non promotions ki 3% to 5% , when you have promotion based on the bucket you are on you will get the hike , as some times the payscale is overlapped between two roles, usually 8 to 15% ( there are other factors to like RSU, bonus percentage etc

maa company lo every yr min and max entha undochu anedi declare chestharu (min. 1% - max.3% ala) and each manager ki oka certain budget allocate avthundi...ex - he just can give 3% to all team members even though they are very much qualified...ade godava maa team lo....Pandemic time lo baane kastapaddaru but only couple ppl ki best rating ichi vallaki 3% and rest of them 2%....enduku ila ante he told me he has a limit on how much hike he can give ani.

ah 2 FTE's thellollu and last yr they both got less hike anduke ee yr compensate cheyyataaniki vallaki high ichadu...ila each yr he keeps changing. All this is provided every resource works hard or have good ratings....if ratings are bad then obviously hike will be at min.
