I cycle 4 days a week, usually 15 miles per trip sometimes go upto 30 miles. Here is what I would say: 1) No, and please don't 2) Try to observe vehicles around you esp when merging into intersections etc and follow stop signs even if you are bicycling 3) Use Strave for bike trails and nextdoor is a good app to know your local routes, incidents etc 4) Wear a helmet, it could be the difference between life and death. Get a good helmet don't get the cheap ones like Bell from Walmart. I use a Scattante and would highly suggest it 3 Quote

Even if you are super careful, you might pay the price in the form of a concussion for someone else's negligence or mistake Quote
