Allu Aravind, who escaped from his responsibilities as General Secretary of Praja Rajyam party after its defeat in the last general elections, has been once again installed in his post by his brother-in-law Chiranjeevi, the president of PRP. Speaking to media he said “Many people thought that I have shifted to film industry leaving the party in a crucial stage. But, it’s not at all true. Although, I become busy with my film making business, I have never departed from duties. Whenever, my services were required for the party I set aside all my other works and have been assisting the party president all these days. But, people who were unaware of this may thought that I just escaped from my responsibilities in the party. So, from now onwards I will work like watch dog for the party and take active part in the party affairs.”

There is one more person who also simply skips his duties in the party. He is none other than Yuva Rajyam president Pawan Kalyan. He also simply turns blind eye on the party and its affairs and become busy with his film profession. While, the party is struggling for its survival, Pawan Kalyan who is holding an important position in the party simply ignores his responsibilities and engaged with his films, as if he is doing a part time job in the party. One day, he may also come forward with same statement made by Allu Aravind now and will be nominated into his post again by his brother Chiranjeevi. Perhaps, this is why people say that PRP is running like a family business and not like a political party.

On the other hand, PRP president Chiranjeevi also recently declares that he too plans to join film industry soon. In that case, we can assume that the PRP party is not a full-fledged political party and it’s a part time political party, which may fully operates only before elections.
