after his death....people made him god...and created idols...

mahayana made few changes to original philosophy....and downgraded actual buddhism as heenayana...

vajrayaaana went one step further...like introduced all mantra tantras in buddhisam...

during vedic age...there is no idol worship....hinduism got influenced by bouddisam and introduced idols...
