Pfizer said that they developed their own technology of mRNA based on their experiences. It would be very surprising if Pfizer would want to collaborate with smaller mRNA vaccine companies like BioNTech and Moderna for other diseases. Smaller mRNA vaccine companies are doomed after covid, larger biotech companies are better positioned to make vaccines for newer strains, other diseases and further mRNA technology. In short, BioNTech and Moderna are doomed after Covid.
