it all depends on you....there are many folks who doesn't like to watch TV in close distance for them 42" TV with less than 8ft distance is same as 65/70" TV in 11-12ft...eyes ki strain, headaches, irritation etc etc....anthenduku, iphone Pro Max size screen close to your eye itself gives same affect..

if u like to enjoy big screen then dont calculate distance...all those numbers are just BS...there is no such rule....simple thing...if like big screens, then go to 75" and forget the distance etc....awesome experience untadi....mari eyes ki strain anukunte, koncham brightness etc lite ga dim chey...make sure there is a dim light in the room instead of pitch dark

75" koni, ekkado dooram ga TV petti chudatam kante....buy an iPad and put right in front of you and watch it...same feel to your eyes
