Using credit cards do a money transfer to India bank accounts I believe you can do $1500 for one transaction ..if you have multiple cards use them ..I did the same using 2 credit cards transferred  $3000

If you have a Citi card - try doing a small Balance transfer there. It posts to Citi CC and shows as credit aka negative balance. 

Call Citi to issue a check.
