Just for the sake of Understanding - Bahubali series.

rajamouli’s dad wrote bahubali story(Usually in chapters) and rajamouli developed them into scenes and hired devakatta to write dialogues for his scenes.

Story writer - Rajamouli’s dad

Screenplay(Script) - Rajamouli

Dialogues - Deva Katta (few Of them)

Someone like Trivikram does both sceeenplay and dialogues.

in case of ... novel writers..they had to do all these three things them selves... (even screen play by explaining each and every detail to project it in reader mind...)

my point is...

oka movie story ki literature department lo muggur roles seperate gaa contribute chetunnarante...

mana movies lo enno variety stories vacchi vundali...

some book / novel writers..easily do all these three roles for a single book but they show good variations and content...

for example...madhu babu novel...etc

while reading his book we can imagine... entire story as movie in our head...
