Reporting actual covid, will actually make things any better.

Even if we start adminstering vaccines on emergency scale, It actual effect may be felt two months from now but people who are getting exposed to covid now will have very less chance to take advantage of vaccine.

 there is a never ending list of events that happen in India throughout the year... elections, religious events, festivals, etc etc.. very hard to control the crowds..
