TDP was formed because there was a need for an alternative back then. YSRCP also came into existence after Jagan got shunned. TRS was conceived for a separate TG. There was a need for those parties. Situation demanded their creation. I am not sure what is the purpose of his party or if there is any concrete ideology there. He has some kapu votebank for sure, but beyond that there are not a lot of people attracted to him. All he did was make a dent into what was traditionally TDP votebank. We are now dealing with a situation where there is barely any opposition in AP.
