Kakarla Subbarao Came to US in 1951

This guy is very great. How come he know about US in 1951 and how he was able to go to US in 1951.

1. Does he know English

2. I dont think even Hyd has air port at that time, where did he flew from

3. How did he apply for Medicine from India. 

4. Any mail would have easily taken 3/4 months to reach

5. No maps in US, No south indian food

and many more

more interestingly he returned to India in 1985 after working here for atleast 30 years and did not stop practice.

Well my moms menamama valla wife sister came to US in 1950 as well 

she is a doctor as well and has a huge reputation as well 

there is a block in the hospital on her name in Michigan 

I don’t know the logistics but it appeared she sailed to reach America

My father went to usa in 1971. He changed almost 6 flights. One of the funniest incidents in when flight landed in dubai - the dubai sheiks used to sell peanuts at almost door of the flight. oil shock did not yet happen then.

It was under bristish control till 70 later oil was discovered.
