Ofc &consular appointment if they cancel ?will they only reschedule?

Hi all,

Can some one tell me if US travel docs cancel my ofc and consular appointment. Will they only reschedule ofc and consular?

 

I have ofc hyd 04/26

and consular Delhi 04/30

 

please suggest

Mumbai:  Due to rising COVID rates and for the safety and protection of our customers and staff, the U.S. Consulate General in Mumbai currently is only providing essential services to U.S. citizens and limited and emergency nonimmigrant and immigrant visa services until further notice. 

New Delhi:  U.S. Embassy New Delhi’s visa and VAC appointments, both in-person and interview waiver, are cancelled from April 20 – April 25 in light of Government of Delhi Order 381 restricting all travel but for essential services.  Emergency services for U.S. citizens will continue. 

The consulates in Chennai, Hyderabad, and Kolkata continue limited visa operations, but may cancel certain appointments as local conditions require.   

If your visa appointment has been cancelled, you will be notified directly by email.  Applicants not notified of an appointment cancellation should plan to attend their interview appointment on the scheduled date and time. 

Due to limited appointment availability, we are currently unable to reschedule any cancelled appointments. We are also unable to speculate on or respond to inquiries regarding potential future cancellations or appointment availability.
