Telugu movies, like other film industries, carry hereditary of actors. Call them the third generation of actors as they fathers and grandfathers have already established themselves in Telugu film industry.

But who holds the best combination of Grandfather – Son. The Tata or Thatha – Manavadu duo.

Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao needs no introduction. He was the one who brought identity to Telugites at National level with his acting and political authority.  And his grandson Jr. NTR is creating waves in contemporary Telugu movies.

His grandson Rana freshly forayed into Telugu film industry with ‘Leader’ and made a mark for himself.

Akkineni Nageswara Rao is a name synonym to Telugu cinema. One of the greatest actors ever produced, Nageswara Rao was hailed for influencing Telugu cinema producers and creating a base in Hyderabad. His grandson, Naga Chaitanya has already proved his mettle in acting with ‘Ye Maaya Chesave’, and is all poised for higher honors.

Allu Rama Lingaiah is one of the best comic actors in India and has the tribute of acting in more than 1000 films. He received the prestigious Raghupathy Venkaiah award by AP State Government for his contributions to Telugu cinema industry. His grandson Ram Charan has already made it big league in Telugu movies by erasing all  previous Tollywood movies records only with his second film ‘Magadheera’.
