హైద‌రాబాద్ : ‌తెలంగాణ‌లో ప‌శు సంవ‌ర్ధ‌క శాఖ కార్య‌క‌లాపాల‌పై ఆ శాఖ మంత్రి త‌ల‌సాని శ్రీనివాస్ యాద‌వ్ స‌మీక్ష నిర్వ‌హించారు. ఈ స‌మీక్ష‌లో ప‌శు సంవ‌ర్ధ‌క శాఖ ఉన్న‌తాధికారులు పాల్గొన్నారు. ఈ సంద‌ర్భంగా మంత్రి త‌ల‌సాని శ్రీనివాస్ యాద‌వ్ మాట్లాడుతూ.. జూన్ నెల‌ఖారు నుంచి రెండో విడుత గొర్రెల పంపిణీకి చ‌ర్య‌లు తీసుకుంటామ‌ని స్ప‌ష్టం చేశారు. ఈ బ‌డ్జెట్‌లో గొర్రెల పంపిణీకి 3 వేల కోట్లు కేటాయింపు చేశార‌న్నారు. మ‌రో 3 ల‌క్ష‌ల మందికి గొర్రెలు పంపిణీ చేయ‌బోతున్నామ‌ని తెలిపారు. ఉపాధి హామీ కింద షెడ్ల నిర్మాణం వేగ‌వంతం చేయాల‌ని ఆదేశించారు. 6 ప‌శువులు ఉండేందుకు వీలుగా రూ. 57 వేల‌తో షెడ్డు నిర్మాణం చేప‌ట్టాల‌న్నారు. ఇప్ప‌టి వ‌ర‌కు 3,631 మంది రైతుల‌కు షెడ్ల నిర్మాణం పూర్త‌యింద‌న్నారు.

On a side note Telangana govt ee program start chesina tharuvatha Nellore breed sheep ki super demand . 

Nellore is the tallest breed of sheep in India, resembling goats in appearance.

Nellore breed cows(now called Ongole breed) are also super famous in Brazil due to their tall muscular build and  resistant to pests and diseases. 

For some reason the native livestock of this region is evovled into the most desirable varieties in the world 

There are  thousand times more Nellore breed cattle are raised in Brazil (for meat industry) than india

There was no praksam district until 1970 , vast majority of it is from Nellore . 

These cattle were transported during British time itself , so the breed name was Nellore or nelore

yes there is no prakasam district but ongole is there before 1970's

why don't you search for nelor cattle in twitter or facebook and see what Brazilians call them.

Nelore or Nellore cattle originated from Ongole Cattle (Bos indicus) cattle originally brought to Brazil from India.
