Sicago poe one more scrutiny..

Wanted to share my experience at Chicago airport immigration: I recently traveled to Delhi for my H4 visa stamping. On my way back  at the Chicago airport immigration, the officer asked me if I was working and asked for my H4 EAD (currently active). I did not have it and I was asked to step aside to the CBP office where the officers spoke (almost yelled) to me and said it is a document which i am required to carry with me all the time because H4 visa does not allow me to work. I explained to him that I have never carried it with me because it is not required for my entry. He said that does not matter. He said I will pull it up in the system this one time and check🙄
Moral of the Story: Carry your EAD or a copy of it if traveling outside the country. It is definitely not required but will avoid unnecessary hassle at immigration.

One of CBP officer In Chicago asked my 10th original. That was crazy but carry all documents

Chicago Poe is notorious for immigrants ani nenu US vachinappti nunchi vuntunaaaaa... variety ga this port of entry rejections starts when Democrats are ruiling... strange

cheisndhi ganakaryam malli edupu okati ... i dont see wrong in cbp asking any docs... arey twitter and facebook ni chusthunamu ani chepthunaru vallu ...alantappudu nuvu us lo work chesthu ...document carry cheyakapothay vadidha tappu and scrutiny ani pedd pedda words.. yes my three friends deported from sicago valladhi scrutiny antay ...e laddulo documenst carry cheyaka malli scrutiny
