Jaathi Rathnalu - Racism against andhra people ? (Also my review)

Nomrally i dont see it like that. but after reading some posts in the forum i had to wonder. 

The heroes all speak telangana accent despite the fact main hero has andhra origins, heroine also speaks TG accent, decent family people (parents etc despite some of them not belonging there) all speak TG accents.

villians (ministers etc) all seem to speak andhra accent. And the comedy villain Mahesh Achanta (jabardasth mahesh) is speaking pakka coastal accent.

So is this not racism @Ellen @Raven_Rayes against andhra then ?

My review is it is a very light weight movie. Not at all worthy of attention for full span of the movie though with some good points. But below are highlights :

Positives;

I liked the relation between three main characters. Normally in telugu films the side heroes are severely disrespected, getting lot of slaps on faces (what is funny with face slapping for telugu people i dont understand). Here the relationship is much better.

I personally like Rahul Ramakrishna - a bahujan action and who is very straightforward of what it means to be bahujan (read his twitter)

Script sometime is clever (but barely)

Negatives

None of the main actors have any screen presence. Even Allari Naresh(very much b grade actor) has much better screen presence than naveen polishetty.

Actors with screen presence like brahmanandam, vennela kishore were given just few minutes which is not at all enough.

Heroine must lose atleast 10 pounds.

For a guy who is potentially "fighting on" discrimination, this comment is so ironical. Marii intha hypocrisy aite etla. Why should we always have fair and thin heroines only? are you objectifying women based on their looks alone?

Its applicable to heroes also. THin ga vundaali anukuntam discrimination? thin anedhi caste/region laga by birth kaadhu - anyone can change.

To me - it doesnt matter. I did not see it as dscrimination before and i dont see it discrmination now. Just like teeesinodu TG in this case, okappudu teesinodu, script raasevaadu, actor andharu kostha valle. Valla accent kaaka inkem pedtharu? as they moved to TG or RS they areas they started accomodating those accents too. They started with comedy and villains - where else can they put? its only a matter of time TG accents and RS accents will come too as Telugu people get richer they want more content closer them. 60 years ago music in american meant white peopel music - now you have blk people which is very popular, you have country music, hispanic music.
