My reportee endured this exact thing recently.. his in-laws were traveling with kids through Chicago.. Their international flight arrived late but their connection also got late.. but still their seats were reassigned based on international flight's status.. they got a flight ~12hrs after.. original was 9/10am connection but got 9pm connection.. but Air India did not give hotel accommodation.. they gave lounge access inside the airport.. they say it was comfortable lounge but the point is no hotel or other compensation until I had to step in to guide my colleague after their arrival..

As it seems the same airlines you should be fine. Even if there is a minor delay in the international leg, the domestic will wait. Problem arises when the international flight gets delayed by a lot. Anyways hope for no issues.

My recent experience. As soon as you deplane staff outside will be calling out locations, our case Chennai flight was within a hr and they were asking people to form a separate line and given priority (only works if ur connection is with AI I guess). Better to get a Wheel chair or request assistance.

if AI , call them and ask for later flight on the day.....they will switch and update your itinerary 

i did the same with my mom, i took the last flight of the day, just to be sure

Hong Kong very closely tracks how many coronavirus are attributed to inbound international travelers, and if any airline is responsible for transporting too many people with coronavirus, the airline gets slapped with a temporary flight ban.

Well, an airline set a new record in terms of imported coronavirus cases earlier this month. On April 4, 2021, Vistara flight 6395 from Delhi to Hong Kong was operated by an Airbus A321neo, featuring a total of 188 seats. A couple of weeks after the flight, a total of 47 passengers have tested positive for coronavirus.

Exactly.....India velthundi kada ani carry on bag, laptop bag etc plan cheyyaku....since no wheel chair, it will be tough to carry all those + diaper bag + kids. Just diaper bag and may be purse lantidi fine (to keep passports and credit cards etc)

asked them bro, they brushed off saying airport staff will make the decision. i did mention that the website isn't even showing the next day flight as connections..

 

however from others' feedback thus far, they can make it is what i am thinking. thanks though

I doubt they will allow more than 10-15 people...this time situation is two times last time.. lockdowns are imminent
