I didn't face this situation (I knew programming since undergrad) but I know someone with a degree in history learned to program at 35 and he is software eng in stich fix now.. you can do it baa..

If you are new to programming, I suggest start with python as it is very beginner friendly..python jobs bochudu unnayi market la.. c or c++ tho initial ga 10ginchukoku..
