వ్యాపారస్తులు లాభాలే చూసుకొంటారు . వాళ్ళని తప్పుబట్టలేం . ప్రతి ఒక్కరూ టాటాలు , అజీజ్ ప్రేమ్జీలు , బిల్ గేట్సులు కాలేరు . 

ఏది ఏమైనా కేంద్ర రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వాలు ఈ భారాన్ని భరించి అందరికీ ఉచితంగా వ్యాక్సిన్ వేయిస్తారు . ఎవ్వరూ ఆందోళన చెందాల్సిన అవసరం లేదు .

నోట్ :- ఇదే భారత్ బయోటెక్ కంపెనీ వాళ్ళు వాటర్ బాటిల్ ధరకే అందరికీ వ్యాక్సిన్ ఇస్తామని వాగ్దానం చేసారు . మరి వాళ్ళు తాగే వాటర్ బాటిల్ 1200 రూపాయలు ఉంటుందేమో .

I don't agree with "not-affordable" argument. For rapid R&D and development of vaccine they went through so much hard work which needs to be monetized now. Pharmaceutical companies set the price very sensibly and very much apt for the Indian market.

Because of the capitalism mindset Pharmaceutical companies were able to at least develop the vaccine within the shortest period of time possible. They are not charitable organizations to sell the product for breakeven price. If government starts to push for reduction of the prices then they might even not develop the vaccine for next needed situation(god forbid not needed again).

When selling at 150 he said not much profits, but no loss too. So if they sell at 600 then minimum profit will be 450. They didn’t do any R&D investment too.

న్యూఢిల్లీ : కోవిషీల్డ్ వ్యాక్సిన్ ధరపై వస్తున్న విమర్శలపై సీరం ఇన్‌‌స్టిట్యూట్ శనివారం స్పందించింది. భారత దేశంలోని వ్యాక్సిన్ ధరను అంతర్జాతీయ ధరలతో పోల్చి చూడటం సరికాదని తెలిపింది. కొన్ని దేశాలు వ్యాక్సిన్ తయారీ కోసం ముందుగానే నిధులు సమకూర్చినందువల్ల ఆ దేశాల్లో వ్యాక్సిన్ ధర తక్కువగా ఉందని వివరించింది. భారత ప్రభుత్వంతో సహా అన్ని దేశాల ప్రభుత్వాల ఇమ్యునైజేషన్ ప్రోగ్రామ్‌లకు సరఫరా చేస్తున్న కోవిషీల్డ్ ప్రారంభ ధర అతి తక్కువగానే నిర్ణయించినట్లు పేర్కొంది. 

 

సీరం ఇన్‌స్టిట్యూట్ శనివారం ఇచ్చిన ట్వీట్‌లో, తాము ఐదు దశాబ్దాల నుంచి ప్రపంచవ్యాప్తంగా వ్యాక్సిన్ల సరఫరాలో, ప్రాణ రక్షణలో ముందు వరుసలో ఉన్నట్లు తెలిపింది. తాము ప్రతి మానవ జీవితాన్ని గౌరవిస్తామని పేర్కొంది. ధరల విషయంలో ఏర్పడిన సందేహాలను నివృత్తి చేసేందుకు ఓ స్టేట్‌మెంట్‌ను జత చేసింది. 

 

దేశవ్యాప్త ఇమ్యునైజేషన్ ప్రోగ్రామ్ కోసం భారత దేశంతో సహా అన్ని దేశాల ప్రభుత్వాలు అతి తక్కువ ధరకు వ్యాక్సిన్‌ను సేకరిస్తున్నాయని తెలిపింది. దీనికి కారణాన్ని వివరిస్తూ, ప్రభుత్వాలు పెద్ద సంఖ్యలో వ్యాక్సిన్‌ను కొనడం వల్ల ధర తక్కువగా ఉందని తెలిపింది. దీనికి ఓ ఉదాహరణను కూడా తెలిపింది. అదేమిటంటే, మార్కెట్ పరిస్థితులనుబట్టి, తమ న్యుమొకాకల్ వ్యాక్సిన్ సహా చాలా వ్యాక్సిన్ల ధరలు స్వేచ్ఛా మార్కెట్‌లో అధికంగానే ఉంటాయని, అయితే ప్రభుత్వానికి స్వేచ్ఛా మార్కెట్ ధరలో దాదాపు మూడింట ఒక వంతుకే లభిస్తాయని తెలిపింది. 

 

గ్లోబల్ మార్కెట్, ఇండియా మధ్య వ్యాక్సిన్ ధరను పోల్చడం సరికాదని తెలిపింది. నేడు మార్కెట్‌లో అత్యంత సరసమైన ధరకు అందుబాటులో ఉన్న కోవిడ్-19 వ్యాక్సిన్ కోవిషీల్డ్ మాత్రమేనని తెలిపింది. ఎట్-రిస్క్ వ్యాక్సిన్ మాన్యుఫ్యాక్చరింగ్ కోసం ఆయా దేశాలు సమకూర్చిన అడ్వాన్స్ ఫండింగ్‌ ఆధారంగా అంతర్జాతీయ ధరలను ప్రారంభంలో అతి తక్కువగా నిర్ణయించినట్లు వివరించింది. భారత దేశంతో సహా అన్ని ప్రభుత్వాల ఇమ్యునైజేషన్ ప్రోగ్రామ్‌లకు కోవిషీల్డ్ ప్రారంభ సరఫరా ధర అతి తక్కువగా ఉందని పేర్కొంది. 

 

ప్రస్తుత పరిస్థితులు చాలా దయనీయంగా ఉన్నాయని, ఈ వైరస్ నిరంతరం మార్పు చెందుతోందని, ప్రజలు చాలా రిస్క్‌లో ఉన్నారని తెలిపింది. ఈ పరిస్థితుల్లో తాము నిలదొక్కుకుని, ప్రాణాలను కాపాడటం కోసం, ఈ మహమ్మారితో పోరాడే సామర్థ్యాన్ని పెంచుకోవడం కోసం పెట్టుబడులను పెట్టవలసి ఉందని పేర్కొంది. 

 

ఒక మోతాదు కోవిషీల్డ్‌ను రూ.600 చొప్పున ప్రైవేటు ఆసుపత్రులకు అమ్ముతామని, అయితే ఈ విధంగా జరిగే అమ్మకాలు చాలా తక్కువగా ఉంటాయని తెలిపింది. కోవిషీల్డ్ ధర అనేక ఇతర చికిత్సలకు అయ్యే ఖర్చు కన్నా చాలా తక్కువ అని పేర్కొంది. తమ ధరల నిర్ణయ విధానాలు పారదర్శకంగా ఉన్నట్లు వివరించింది.
