Thats because its not just one caste, its combination of:

1. Ku'da'pa Yeddies, who are Kapus 

2. Ku'da'pa factionists who disguise as Yeddis

3. Konda Yeddis (ST) who think their caste has been ruling the State.

4. Coasta Yeddies who are mainly AutoRickshaw drivers in VJA/Guntur

5. Yeddis who are BCs in Telangana

6. Christian Yeddis (They form 50% of Yeddis) that are SCs

7.  Nellore Pedha Yeddis who are bit Dignified among all Groups

8. Yeddis from Srikakulam/VNagaram/VSKP who are mainly BCs

And many more...... actually I lost the list.

So no wonder one of their community members will always be a CM.
