TDP Visakha Corporator Dies For Covid

The beleaguered TDP had lost its newly-elected corporator in Visakhapatnam for Covid.

Its corporator Vanapalli Ravi died of covid during early hours on Monday. Though he was admitted in the hospital for treatment, the doctors could not help him despite providing best treatment.

Ravi died after three days of treatment in the hospital. He was elected to the Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation from 31st division.

Interestingly, Ravi was an active leader in the party and he had taken an active part in helping the covid victims in the first wave.

Ravi had also helped several poor families during the lockdown by providing provisions to them all through the season.

When some covid patients died in the first wave and there were no attendants and even the family members were prevented from attending funerals, Ravi performed several such funerals standing as role model.

For Visakhapatnam, Ravi’s death is a great loss and for the TDP, the death is irrecoverable.

TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu and general secretary Nara Lokesh expressed shock over the death of Ravi and conveyed sympathies to the bereaved family.
