Does that mean state governments are not be trusted even if they want to do their own testing and provide numbers?

We have already experienced the first wave.what did we learn from it?this is one classic example where Center can do something on its own ani.

If I have to conclude from what I have been hearing not just from you but others in this DB, all things are pointing to making health a responsibility of both centre and state. That requires constitutional amendment and doing this also gives Union government more power. This point of recategorising health under concurrent list was also brought up in the 15th financial commission recommendations. Let’s see what will happen going forward

for example when I took my covid test, it was clearly mentioned in the test result that the result will be shared with the Center ICMR ani.but the test being rt-pcr and a costly one, not many are willing to take it.instead they are flocking at rapid tests.centers biggest failure is to track all such things even after experiencing the first wave
