Asking this for friend.. I had same understanding... but since it came from an attorney, posted here...

He may be using the logic- Ap/EAD vadukunte dual intent poyinatte kadha... which means h1 (non-immi) poyi only immi ne untadhi kadha... ani

AP is not in India, it’s deprecate country so you can come as per @psycopk anna

nope.

u can still be on H1 and use AP....

ur EAD or H1 status wont change if u use AP. only thing is everytime u need to go for secondary checking at POE.

In this case though, if he uses EAD and AP both, then H status will be voided. So, would that EAD+AP status considered as Immi status and so qualify for entry aa ani...
