Veteran director K Bapu who made classics like Seeta Kalyanam and Mutyala Muggu in the past is planning a new version of this film. And Balakrishna will be playing the lead role that was originally done by his father Late NTR. This would be the first time that Bapu teaming up with Balakrishna although he directed several top stars including NTR in his long career. Ramarajyam is the title?Yalamanchali Sai Babu is producing this flick and it is learnt that the movie will have its muhurat ceremony on September 30. Ramarajyam is the title under consideration for this film based on Uttara Ramayanam (that is Lava Kusha story). Madhuri Dixit or Nayanatara!Bapu is in favor of roping yesteryear Bollywood glam queen Madhuri Dixit to play the role of Godess Sita. They are trying to convince her. If she doesn’t agree, Nayanatara is the next choice. But given the fact that Nayanatara wants to bid adieu to acting as she is planning to marry her long time boyfriend Prabha Deva this year, it is doubtful that she may agree to this film. Ilayaraja to do the music?Ilayaraja might be scoring the music. Bapu and Ilayaraja earlier worked together for Mantrigaari Viyyakundu that was a musical hit.
