Should not ignore this. This can be genuine previously many F1 students got this call/email regarding visa revoke and they ignored thinking it’s fake, but when coming back after a trip they were stopped at POE. Some article in happyschools blog on this there.

did they asked for any credit card details or personal info or money ? If they just called to inform visa is revoked then u need to contact embassy.

fake kadu. heard similar story from a trusted source. parents re-entered US after fiilng extension last year but CBP stopped them saying visa is cancelled because they missed the biometrics appt.

USCIS will always communicate by mail. Recently one of my neighbors also got a fake call and started intimidating them.
