you mean fix the mortgage rate ?  isn't your closing on Aug 31st ? usually locked mortgage rate is good for 45 days...depends upon lender.

I am getting 2.9 for $405k loan..still shopping around , checking with quicken and new american funding 

better.com is giving 2.6 but with points 

Not sure if it is good rate, closing in end of july
