I normal not a huge fan of sea food but this is yum. Buy canned ones in oil. Super cheap and super flabor ful - just two small pieces will add flavor to any rice or noodles dish.

Never tried but my tamil friends eat a lot.

Vuppu Chepa (with almost no skin) iguru matram baga tinevadini chinnapudu.. Salty ga super vuntadhi. Manchi vuppu chepa chala takkuva chotla dorikiddhi...

oh. adhey naa anchovies antey. I love the smell. I grew up in an area where they dried that fish.

but to outsiders that area is kampu. to me, its divine. even though I have never eaten it.
