Our fifth generation fighter acma won't be ready in next two decades.. Su57 was supposed to join our fleet by now....but Russia gave us L ..otherwise india would have 5 the gen su57 in our fleet in oar with f35. We lost lot of millions 500+ and most importantly trust with Russian production Despite the cost..su57 is no match to f35 Quote

Like someone said ..beg steal ..do whatever ... France , British, american making engines for centuries .. Russia reverse engineered British and German engines from aircraft they captured after world war 2 Japanese got knowledge transfer from Germans..during world war 2 Chinese followed Russian path to steal.. We had our own engine making capacity...but in 1990s after pokhran tests..india was under sanction...we lost state of art wind tunnels ...our engine making got delayed Quote
