Ex-TDP Minister To Quit BJP To Join TRS!

The episode of Telangana Rashtra Samithi leader and sacked health minister Eatala Rajender has generated a lot of hopes among the leaders who are eyeing Huzurabad seat, to be vacated by him shortly.

One of the strong aspirants for the seat is former minister Enugala Peddi Reddy, who represented Huzurabad seat before Rajender entered the scene.

Peddi Reddy, who played a prominent role in the Telugu Desam Party till the bifurcation of the combines Andhra Pradesh, has become jobless after TDP was wiped out of Telangana. Later, he joined the BJP, where he has nothing much to do.

Now that Rajender is all set to quit the TRS and is expected to join the Bharatiya Janata Party, Peddi Reddy sees a chance to get back his glory by joining the BJP.

He has already sent feelers to the TRS to this effect and is expected to get the green signal, once Rajender quits the party formally.

That is precisely why he started attacking the BJP leadership soon after the reports that Rajender would join the BJP surfaced.

He wondered how the BJP leadership could admit Rajender without consulting him.

“His entry will create a turmoil in the party in Huzurabad,” he warned.

Peddi Reddy said only a section of people were supporting Rajender, who had no big standing in Huzurabad.

He questioned the propriety of the party in holding consultations with Rajender in Vivek’s farmhouse without taking him into confidence.

“This is not proper,” he said.
