I had last week, its hackerrank editor. Yes code should be compiled and also pass the test cases. I couldn’t clear it. I was only able to do 1 of the 2.

First one given one array with transaction logs (array of user ids and amount in 1 string) return users with transactions that are greater than a threshold in ascending order ( order should be numerical order).

this was easy but unnecessarily spent more time on it. 
 

second one: 

given a string like |**|*** and a array of ranges return the number of * between closed |. This one failed for some test cases. Run time limit exceeded. Think we should use splay trees, not sure.

Every team has their own interview process.
