LLC Queries

Hi Folks,

Few queries about establishing a LLC company, if you can please clarify, much appreciated.

1. Does LLC company need to acquire business licenses from Federal and State?
2. What do we choose for "Tax classification"?

1. Depending on your business - Yes, you need EIN and state resale certificate 

2. Sole proprietorship or S-corp - If its small, single owner/member and you want to claim under your returns. (This is default for small business until unless you change). 

Corporation - If its big or corporation or multiple investors or you want to separate tax filing
