Given how even healthy folks are dying in India due to Covid they wanted to cover their bases and not end up as a widow as soon as marriage is done , rational I would say

but the 'interested parties can apply' cracks me up, is it a job application to apply , guess they wanted to ask interested parties to reach out or contact them , 'apply' seems a little off here..whoever wrote the matrimonial probably made a mistake..
