For people stuck in India and not eligible to travel back US due to ban, drope email to NIE (National Intrest exemption) describing your situation or urgency to travel. Genuine cases are exempted from travel ban. They reply as early as 1-2 days. No matter what reason you have just try your luck.

Visitor Visa ki kuda istara NIE? It's difficult for parents to go to Mexico and stay there for 14 days. It doesn't look like they r going lift the restrictions on travel anytime soon. Schengen/EU countries ki July lo travel ban teesesta annaru but now they r thinking of September. Based on that India ki ippudappude travel ban ettela leru.

visitor visa ki baga rejections avuthunnai, rare ga isthunnaru appovals. Oka doctor gadiki echaru valla parents ki NIE. He said something like I would be able to take care of them and will have less stress if they are with me ani edo try chesadu anta

Got response asking who is end client and under what category they fall in.
