Can we travel via Europe to India with expired visa and valid GC-EAD/AP

Hi

I have plans to travel india this November, h1b visa expired, expecting EAD/AP by that time .

Any idea if we can travel in British airways or some other airlines via Europe with valid AP.

Please share info if you any..
