its a fact that bharatanatyam is popular because of the decades of promotion tambrams did, and the ecosystem they built around it.

vaadu adigina quechen is not even relevant.

Isai vellalar anta.. atleast brahmin is just a broadbased varna term..

Ade from what I noticed, most kids from Telugu families also learn Bharata Natyam not so much Kuchipudi, why is this the case? 

US lo kooda classical Indian dance institutes lo mostly Bharata Natyam untundi not so much Kuchipudi even if the teacher were to be a Telugu person.

Tamils are very focused on art form they learn and irrespective of professions there are in they try to continue it . Bharatanatyam is not easier than kuchipudi.  Bharatanatyam dance basic steps chestunna hair nunchi sweat drip ayyi floor mida padutundi . It happened to me only many many times .  No work out equals to classical dance . Telugus usually ah dedication leka they don’t continue to teach even though they learned . I like kuchipudi but I learning Bharatanatyam because it’s very very difficult to find kuchipudi teacher . Bharatanatyam teacher very easy to find comparatively .  Tamils promote well .

She performed Mohiniyaattam

but it was a collage, so there were others who performed bharatanatyam, kuchipudi and Kathak.

I think bharatanatyam and mohiniyaattam have a half bent knee stance, and kuchipudi and kathak have a more straight stance. hehe..
