4-5 decades old illegal occupations being removed, no previous governments had wherewithal to remove illegal occupations from the iconic monument

Lol , just take a look at gitam University illegal occupation . The judge heard the case mid night and gave stay order.

I don't think it is in litigation it is obvious looking at the pictures the buildings encroached, more over old city being sensitive no-one bothered to touch it(obviously MIM backers).

 

3 years back they started charminar pedestrian project, vehicular traffic is restricted and new tiles have been layed around chahrminar, vendors are yet to move out as their relocation to a new flea market is being planned across Musi river
