Dear friends,

 

Did you or any of your friends attended 485 interview.. what are the questions and process

I attended with family. He asked me a bunch of questions about my job. My role, my client, my team members, my boss, when did I join, when did I move, how many companies etc.,

My client was a bioscience firm. So he asked me if I have access to their research, if yes what type of access, to actual product, access to data etc., He asked me if any of the scientists report to me. I said no, then he asked me my working relationship with those scientists. 

then he moved on to my family. He asked me how I met my wife etc., He asked my wife also a bunch of questions and then checked the details against my answers. For some of my friends, they took their wife to separate room to ask questions and then tally chesukunnaru. 

At the end he asked some casual things and asked me where can he get authentic biryani in our area...

Overall my interview office was good. But I also heard cases where they come across as rude..depends on the person, our fate..

Dont panic or worry if they separate u or ur spouse, it is fine. Answers simple gane adugutharu but they want to make sure the answers are matching and u r not commiting any fraud. Unauthorized work or stay emaina chesava or e country ki baram avathava elanti points check chestharu.. and they want to make sure the papers u submit speak truth. 
 

my suggestion: have ur attorney on call on the day of The interview or in person, this helps a lot.. if the officer catches any mistake or questions u on something u cannot answer on the spot, panic situation untadhi a times lo attorney call lo unte he or she will step in and deal. It is soooo worth it.
