So what do you guys think I should do to my eb3 downgrade?? Should I make it premium right away so that I don’t need to wait if my PD become current soon. And also there is always the worry of dates retrogression..

@csrcsri believe your PD is close to mine.. what are your thoughts on this?? My receipt date is October 27.

Also surprisingly, one of my friends eb3 downgrade got approved couple of days ago. SRC and receipt date is October 29. Not premium processing.

if you ask me personally money ki aantha ibbandhi lekapothe you have to do 140 premium , some are gettinig rfes , 140 is key component bro, even if you get ead ap you cannot use confidently untiil 140 approves 

if your pd is current they will not touch your 485 until 140 is approved 

its personal choice but reember entire 485 is based on 140 

to change jobs with 485 j alos youo need 140 appropval. velaka query padithe most companies wont answer

Premium 140 downgrade doesn't guarantee GC or EAD. Almost USCIS did not process 95% of the applications submitted since Oct 2020. You can see the report generated by some Chinese guy script where 60k applications didn't make any progress at all and everything stalled. It is projected that USCIS wastes 100K+ visas. We are just 2 months away from the current FY to end and it's too much to expect from them in 2 months when they haven't done a thing since 8 months.

maybe won't retrogress but we may lose the opportunity to make better progress. The dates will continue to stay same next year as well but may not move as aggressive as it is going now. But end of the day depends on USCIS on how much they want to process.
