His main disagreement was that we would never be able to predict scientific phenomenon in a deterministic way going forward, as quantum physics had made it clear that everything going forward will only exist in a probabilistic state which means that any laws of physics we can define might never be the same going forward. In a totally darkened room, if you try to pass a let's say visible ray of light through a slit and capture it's pattern you would see a divergence pattern on the screen. However let's say if you dim the light so much that it's almost to the scale of electromagnetic waves then what you see on the screen is a particle. It's almost like the elements at the quantum level have their own mind and a subtle sense of humor where they show themselves existing as two different things at the same time under similar set of conditions.
