1. dumb, because they don't understand the economy and earnestly believe that govts cannot run huge deficits. for godsake, pick up a basic mmt text book. Govt can literally pump in infinite amount of money into the system and tax it back. Its all about where the govt should spend its money. That's the political decision. The constraint here is political, not financial. duh!!!

2. evil, because some of them do understand that deficit spending has the capacity to transform the economy, but do not want the economy running too hot for everybody, because it challenges their dominant position in the social and economic hierarchy.

stupid fcuks, that it is unprofitable is the biggest reason why it should not be privatized. Private players cannot magically turn a profit where a govt didn't. It has literally never happened in the history of trade, dumbfcuks.

yeah, I'm including all the generous fitments, huge salaries paid to govt workers. In fact, govt should hire more workers and aim for full employment, because private sector simply cannot. Private sector, on the other hand, thrives on govt spending. If the govt tries to save (like the stupid TG govt did in the first few years by running a 'migulu budget'),  govt related private sector profits will suffer. basic basic stufff.

The constraint here again is political, not financial. Even for India.
