Desi Natural Dahi has 12g Sugar...why do we buy it?

Steel cut oats........1g of Natural Sugar.

Sometimes, we mix it with fruits or carrot which will add some more sugar....but directly from fruits or veggies ...not like from milk  solids like in that Dahi

 

Usually we do stuff like Oats Dosa and stuff with other flour like Ragi etc.

Rarely, if we can't prepare, last option would be Cheerios(Not Honey Nut)

that desi dahi is so artificial with a whole lot preservatives, and sugars, better to go homemade.

natural sugars are those that comr out of those fruits, dairy products etc. 

Just it has the word natural doesnt mean its good to use, adding that, using natural sugars on a very low intakes is not bad at all, 

Diabetics cant have natural sugar fruits like mangoes grapes watermelon etc-- these fruits have enough sugar content, but they are natural- so good thing about these fruits are, they way better than normal refined sugars.. but they do count if you're a weight watchers, calories watcher.

Long story short - better to avoid sugars, sometime okay to take sugary fruits to crave the sweet tooth if you have any at all. Can sub Palm Jaggery  for sugar.
