same thing happened to a friend of mine too. hackers keep a track of your activity and send instructions for down payment at the right time mimicking the builder. my friend almost sent the money. bank asked for few more details and when he called the builder ...that is when he found that they never sent any details. in some cases hackers get access to the builders database and get all the details too.

so be very careful. remember that your email might be hacked and these hackers are monitoring your emails without revealing themselves. change password regualrly and always double check with builder.
