Thats the more accurate info you can get to check the salary range and negotiate accordingly..

also I am from bay area and I know 180K as base in bay area is also on the higher side for a senior software engineer. Here every one banks on stocks and bonus but base is around the same for even FAANG companies. If they agree for 180K as base for senior sw engg in bay area, you are getting a good deal..check the real salaries of people from FAANG compaines in the link above
