that's your body asking for carbs and happens usually night times

It could be stress too. 

Skipping meals initials days lo will make you stressed.

Nenu max 4 days chesa anthaku minchi vellalekapoyaa .. akali dhanchi dhanchi vadhilindhii but i felt amazingggg .. food dreams are good in a way atleast dreams lo aina thinna sarisfaction untundi a time lo :D

Once you get past 4 days it gets easier, all your hunger dies. It's really amazing. I felt bad I cut it at 6 days as I was doing fine, but mentally couldn't resist eating any longer. 

Planning to do a 10 day water only fast this year

Start eating nuts and oats more during meals. Oats will control the blood glucose level pretty well. Nuts will reduce stress. 

Bland food alavatu chesuko. Keeping yourself fit is like a penance. It takes a lot of effort and letting go of your desire for tasty food.

Best to avoid coffee. Caffeine withdrawal first address chesi, fasting cheyadam better.
